Step 1: Purchase the Vehicle

The dealer will provide you with essential documents, including the sale certificate, temporary registration certificate, and the roadworthiness certificate. These documents are necessary for completing the registration process.

Step 2: Gather Required Documents

Before visiting the RTO, make sure you have all the required documents. These include:

  1. Form 20: Application for registration of a new motor vehicle.
  2. Form 21: Sale certificate issued by the vehicle dealer.
  3. Form 22: Roadworthiness certificate issued by the vehicle manufacturer.
  4. Form 34: If the vehicle is under a loan, this form is required, signed by both the owner and the financier.
  5. Insurance Certificate: Proof of valid vehicle insurance.
  6. Pollution Under Control (PUC) Certificate: Certificate indicating the vehicle meets pollution control standards.
  7. Address Proof: Valid address proof documents such as Aadhaar card, passport, or utility bills.

Step 3: Visit the RTO

Step 4: Pay the Fees
